CONGRATULATIONS ON RECENT TEXAS BLAZER 2010 COMMITMENTS!

Megan Shafer commits early to play for the Rice Owls. Megan is the first Blazer to commit from the 2011 class. Congratulations Megan.

Chelsea Bass verbals with the University of Texas to continue her education and basketball career. Chelsea will join the Longhorn roster in the 2010-2011 season. Congrats C-Bass!

Congratulations to Julie Manning for committing to play basketball with the Air Force Academy (2010-2011 season). Way to go Julie!!

Blazer Updates:
Jesse Diamond scores career high 22 points in a 69 - 55 win over Bradley University.
Jesse was nemed MVC Newcomer of the Week.
Zoe Rogers scores career high 19 points (9 for 9 -FG) in a 81- 69 overtime loss to Tulane. Then 12 points and 7 rebounds the next game against UTEP. After two big games Z was named Conference USA Freshman of the Week.
Michelle Price is averaging (9.7 ppg, 5 rpg, 1.7 spg, and shooting 69% from the field), since getting the starting nob with the Shockers 6 games ago.
Ayriell Robinson scores career high 11 points in a 59 - 55 loss to Memphis University.
B. Gilbreath records second double double (18 points and 12 Boards) of the season, in a 85 -77 loss to Oregon. BG also had 5 assist, 4 blocks and 2 steals.
Brittney Williams moves into 3rd place on Lamar University all time leading scores list with 1,375 points. Brit had 13 points and 4 rebounds in a 68 to 65 win over McNeese State. Way to go "Moses"..

Dominique Boykins records seasons first double double (15 points and 11 rebounds) in West Florida's 69 to 62 win over Eckerd College.

Dy Bullinger records second double double of the season (22 points (career high) 10 rebounds) in a 77 - 61 victory over Eastern New Mexico. Then gets her 3rd double double the very next game (22 points 10 rebounds) in 82 - 65 victory over Angelo State. Way to do it Dy!
Brittney Brooks put up first Double Double of the season (15 points 14 rebounds) in a 73 65 victory over Lamar University. Brooks added 8 assist and 4 steals while playing 40 minutes.
After two years off Meghan Lewis (Blazer '07) is back on the court for the University of Bridgeport. In her first two games back, Megan is averaging 18 points per game! Meghan we are so happy your back!
